Postbirth Care Plan for a Discerning Childbirth®
In the hustle and bustle of preparing for the birth of a baby many parents, birth educators, midwives, and church people don't think a lot about preparing for the three months following the birth of the baby. In our culture there is a tendency to rush in the first couple of weeks following the birth to visit and bring meals. And then the family is dropped. This often leaves moms home alone with a new baby, isolated, tired, and without help and support. Change all that by teaching and helping parents develop a good postpartum care program.
