Christian Pre Marriage Counseling

At the Dunamas Center we offer pre marriage counseling that is Christ centered, heart connecting, and marriage focused. We follow the same five day intensive model as the marriage counseling with the addition of coaching in finance and budgeting, and the inclusion of the Choices for a Discerning Childbirth™ seminar, because it is important, even in the pre marriage time frame to not only focus on if you agree on how many children to have, and when to start a family, but whether or not you know your birthing options, and if you both agree on the type of births you will have. This will help you to explore how having children will impact the marriage relationship so you can continue to be heart connected throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the formation of your family. Our premarital counseling follows the intensive model and includes the following:

 

• 15 hour heart connecting counseling
• Budgeting and finance following the connecting heart model
• Transitioning into a sexual relationship without loosing your hearts
• Choices in Childbirth Seminar for young couples planning a family
• Step family formation as needed

 

In addition we are comfortable working with couples who aren’t sure if they should get married, and help them decide if they are compatible to move toward marriage.
